Margie Singer

Dr. Marjorie Kagawa-Singer is an Associate Professor at the UCLA School of Public Health and Asian American Studies Department.  Her clinical work and research include intervention studies to promote mammography, quality of life, and spirituality in Southeast Asian and Pacific Islander women.  Dr. Kagawa-Singer also does work in doctor/patient communication concerning post-breast and cervical cancer with the Hispanic, African American, and Asian American communities. Dr. Kagawa-Singer is principal investigator of the Los Angeles site for the NCI funded national Asian American Network on Cancer Awareness, Research and Training.
